Miracle 2 Light Wall Light - Brass With Cast Glass

The Miracle is a 2-light wall light built around a vertical brass stem with two curved glass shades, each housing a G9 bulb (sold separately). The cast glass forms an organic petal shape around a textured glass sphere, with the brass frame acting as both structure and reflector. The 31.5cm width and 45cm height suit hallways, bedroom walls beside reading positions, or as flanking pairs in living rooms.

Each glass shade is hand-cast rather than blown, giving a thicker, more sculpted quality to the glass. The clear outer glass curves around a dimpled inner sphere, creating refraction patterns when lit. The brass finish on the stem and circular wall plate provides warm metallic contrast against the clear glass, and the vertical orientation keeps the two bulbs stacked rather than side-by-side, reducing the horizontal projection from the wall to 19.5cm.

The fitting requires a G9 capsule bulb in each socket, with a maximum wattage of 28W per bulb (total 56W). Most installations use LED G9 bulbs at 3-5W each, delivering equivalent light output to halogen while running cooler and lasting longer. The IP20 rating restricts the Miracle to dry indoor locations only — bedrooms, hallways, living rooms and studies, but not bathrooms or outdoor covered areas.

Maytoni manufactures the Miracle in Europe, with the glass shades cast in moulds that give each piece slight dimensional variation in the petal edges and surface texture. The brass stem and wall plate are machined metal rather than plated plastic, giving the fitting a combined weight that requires secure wall fixings into masonry or timber studs rather than plasterboard alone.

What bulb does the Miracle take?

Each socket takes a G9 capsule bulb up to 28W. Most users fit LED G9 bulbs at 3-5W and 2700K-3000K warm white. Bulbs are sold separately.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen. LED G9 bulbs marked as dimmable will work with most trailing-edge dimmers, but non-dimmable LED bulbs will flicker or fail to dim smoothly.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Miracle to dry indoor locations only. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher, even outside the defined zones around baths and showers.

How is the glass shade attached?

The glass shades sit in brass cradles that screw onto the vertical stem. They can be removed for bulb replacement or cleaning by unscrewing the retaining collar beneath each shade.
