Description

The Minster is a 2-light traditional wall light with two curved metal arms extending from an oval backplate, finished in black with gold patina accents. The backplate features a hammered texture border and decorative raised details, while the arms loop outward to hold two candle-style E14 bulb fittings on shallow drip trays. Each bulb fitting accepts an E14 candle bulb up to 60W (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for hallways, living rooms and dining rooms where ambient wall lighting suits the space better than ceiling-mounted fittings, the Minster pairs traditional metalwork with a dual-tone finish that bridges classical and contemporary interiors. The 145mm projection from the wall positions the light source forward enough to cast light both upward and outward, reducing harsh shadows on the wall surface. The 260mm width keeps the fitting compact enough for narrower walls without overwhelming the mounting surface.

The black base finish with gold patina highlighting brings out the decorative detailing on the arms and backplate, giving the fitting a layered tonal depth that changes appearance depending on the angle of natural light during the day. The metal construction provides structural stability for wall-mounting on standard plasterboard with appropriate fixings, or directly onto masonry or timber stud walls. The dual E14 fittings allow control over light output by choosing bulb wattage and colour temperature to suit the room.
