This handpainted trinket box puts Minnie Mouse centre stage. She stands on a round red base with her arms out wide and a big smile. Her red dress and her famous bow are dotted with small clear stones that catch the light, and she wears her white gloves and yellow shoes. The round box beneath her is bright red with a gold rim and a band of gold mouse-head motifs, each one separated by another little clear stone. Altogether it stands 8.5cm tall, 4.1cm wide and 4.4cm deep.

Being so compact, it fits on a dressing table, a bedside table or a bookshelf, and the round base keeps it steady wherever it sits. Inside is a small space for the treasures that tend to go missing: a ring, a pair of stud earrings, a tiny charm or a folded note.
