Description

The Milo is a 690mm table lamp built around a white ceramic gooseneck base set on an aged brass plinth, paired with a 360mm drum shade in a laminated Art Deco geometric pattern of grey, gold and cream chevrons. The ceramic base rises 440mm before the shade, with a long-necked profile that sits the shade at eye level when placed on a side table or dresser. An E27 lampholder inside the shade accepts bulbs up to 60W.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways and living room side positions, the Milo provides ambient task light through the geometric shade fabric while the white ceramic base anchors the lamp visually. The 360mm shade diameter suits 900-1200mm-wide surfaces without overwhelming the footprint. The Art Deco chevron pattern on the shade adds directional interest when lit, with the metallic gold and grey tones contrasting the plain white ceramic.

The aged brass metalwork includes the base plinth, the neck collar where the ceramic meets the lampholder, and the finial at the top of the shade. The aged finish shows darker patina in recesses and edges rather than the uniform tone of polished brass. The ceramic body is glazed smooth but shows slight tonal variation between pieces depending on kiln position during firing.
