The Middlefield is a 610mm spherical chandelier built from four arched distressed wood bands that cross to form a globe cage, held by iron rust finished metalwork. Four E14 candle-style sockets sit on curved metal arms inside the sphere, each taking a single candle bulb up to 60W (sold separately). The wood bands are finished to show grain texture and distressing that suggests reclaimed timber without the structural variability of actual salvaged wood.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Middlefield hangs on a 2540mm chain adjustable during installation. The minimum drop of 822mm suits standard 2.4m ceilings when the pendant sits over a dining table, while the maximum 3362mm drop accommodates double-height entrance halls and vaulted ceilings. Can the chain length be adjusted after installation?

The chain is adjusted during installation by removing or adding links before the ceiling canopy is fixed. Once installed, the drop is fixed unless the canopy is removed and the chain re-adjusted.
