The Micron is a 3-light cluster pendant light from Schuller Spain, featuring three rose gold metal mesh shades suspended on adjustable black cables from a polished chrome circular canopy. Each shade is a double-layer construction: an outer rose gold mesh cage wrapped around a clear acrylic diffuser etched with a bubble pattern. Integrated 15W LEDs inside each shade cast 3000K warm white light through the acrylic and out through the mesh, creating a textured glow with scattered reflections.

Designed for breakfast bars, kitchen islands under 1.5m wide, bedroom reading corners and boutique retail or hospitality spaces, the Micron works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The individual cables adjust from 65cm to 145cm drop, allowing the three shades to be clustered tightly at similar heights or staggered in an asymmetric arrangement. The canopy includes gravity toggles for ceiling installation, ensuring the plate sits flush on sloped or slightly uneven surfaces.

The integrated driver supports TRIAC and 0-10V dimming protocols, making the pendant compatible with most LED wall dimmers without requiring additional equipment. The rose gold finish on the mesh provides a warm metallic accent that pairs well with brass, copper and blush-toned interiors, while the polished chrome canopy and black suspension cables keep the overall aesthetic clean. The mesh cages are approximately 30cm tall and 36cm in total diameter when measured across the widest point of the cluster. The bubble-etched acrylic diffuser softens the LED point source and spreads light more evenly than a plain clear diffuser would, reducing glare when viewed from below. IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

Is the Micron dimmable?

Yes. The integrated driver supports both TRIAC and 0-10V dimming protocols, making it compatible with most LED wall dimmers. Confirm your dimmer is rated for LED loads before installation.

Can the cables be adjusted to different lengths?

Yes. Each of the three cables adjusts independently from 65cm to 145cm drop, allowing you to cluster the shades at the same height or create a staggered, asymmetric arrangement.

What ceiling height is required?

With a minimum drop of 65cm, the Micron suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. For installation over a breakfast bar or kitchen island, allow 70-80cm clearance between the lowest shade and the worktop surface.

How is the rose gold mesh cleaned?

The mesh cages attract dust over time. Clean with a dry, soft microfibre cloth or a brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner set to low suction. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the fitting, as moisture can enter the LED housing.
