Description

This rectangular stoneware plate carries a pair of robins perched on a green sprig dotted with red berries, with the words 'merry christmas' written in small lower case letters beneath them. The plate has a soft white glaze with a creamy warmth to it, and a raised border of rounded beads runs all the way around the rim, framing the two birds at its centre. It measures 42.4cm long, 23.6cm wide and 4cm deep, a generous length that gives it real presence on a table or sideboard.
