Description

The Mercury 4-gang extension lead provides four UK 13A sockets on a 5-metre cable, terminated with a standard 13A moulded UK plug. The lead is BS1363/A compliant and rated for 230Vac mains, handling a total load of 13A across all four sockets combined — approximately 3,000W at full capacity.

Designed for home, office and workshop use where mains sockets are positioned away from desks, entertainment units or workbenches, the 5m cable run allows placement of the extension block near equipment without stretching or tension on the cable. The four sockets accept standard UK three-pin plugs and can power multiple devices simultaneously — computers, monitors, printers, chargers, lamps — provided the combined draw does not exceed 13A.

The white housing is lightweight ABS plastic with keyhole mounting slots on the rear panel, allowing the extension lead to be wall-mounted for tidier cable management in fixed installations. When used on floors or desks, the low-profile design keeps the block stable without taking up excessive surface area. The moulded cable entry and exit points reduce strain on the cable at the connection points.
