Description

The Mercury 4-gang 13A trailing socket provides four UK 13A outlets in a white polycarbonate housing with a red neon power indicator on the left end. The unit measures 265mm long by 60mm wide by 27mm deep, making it suitable for desk surfaces, workshop benches and floor-level power where multiple devices need to run from a single mains lead.

Designed for domestic, office and light commercial use, the socket carries BS1363/A approval and is rated at 13A across all four outlets combined. The neon indicator glows red when the socket is live, confirming power presence before devices are plugged in. Two keyhole slots on the back allow the socket to be wall-mounted horizontally using standard screws, useful for workshop installations where bench space is limited.

The rewirable design means the mains cable and internal connections can be replaced if damaged, extending the product's usable life beyond typical sealed units.
