The Meggiano is a colour changing LED touch table lamp in purple and white, standing 32cm tall with a shade 15cm in diameter. The white plastic diffuser is finished with a purple band and sits on a slim purple stem and a round base 12.5cm in diameter, the body plastic too. Its integrated LED gives 320 lumens at 3000K, a warm white that flatters faces and food alike. It runs from a built-in Li-ion battery of 2600mAh, so there is no cable to trail across the table. With an IP54 rating it is protected against dust and splashing water, which means it can live outdoors as happily as it lives indoors.

Because it is cordless, it follows the evening: the garden table, a covered terrace, a balcony, or the kitchen once everyone moves indoors. At 0.97KG it is easy to carry from one spot to the next. The soft lilac tone and white shade sit comfortably beside natural wood, stone and greenery, and at 32cm tall it lights a dining table without blocking the view between guests.
