Description

The Meca is a 1200mm linear suspension light with an integrated 25W LED delivering 2250lm at 3000K warm white through a continuous diffuser. The fitting consists of a slim 28mm-wide white aluminium body suspended on two stainless steel cables, adjustable from 60mm to 2060mm drop. The 36° beam angle focuses the light output downward, making the Meca a task-oriented fitting rather than ambient wash lighting.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and work surfaces where directed overhead light is needed, the 1200mm length covers approximately 1m of worktop or seating without shadowing. The minimum 60mm drop allows the fitting to sit close to the ceiling in rooms with limited height, while the 2060mm maximum accommodates taller spaces where the light needs to hang lower over a surface. The white finish on the aluminium body blends with white or pale ceilings, reducing visual contrast and letting the light output take priority.

The Meca is non-dimmable and runs on 220-240V mains without requiring an external driver box — the driver is housed inside the 1200mm body. At 1.3kg the fitting is light enough for standard ceiling fixings and the suspension cables take the load rather than the ceiling rose doing structural work. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warmer half of the white spectrum, producing a tone closer to halogen than the cooler 4000K frequently used in office lighting.
