Description

This slim photo frame pairs a matt black metal edge with a crisp white mount, a clean, graphic look that lets a favourite picture take centre stage. It holds a single 7 x 5in print in a rectangular window, and the white mount gives the picture a generous border before the black edge closes around it. The frame measures 23cm tall, 19cm wide and just 1cm deep, so it sits neatly without crowding a shelf or desk. The narrow metal profile keeps the look light and modern, and the matt surface avoids the glare of a glossy finish.

Black and white sits happily with almost any colour scheme, so this is an easy frame to place around the house: on a bedside table, a hallway console, a mantelpiece or a study desk. It suits black and white photography especially well, and gives a bright colour print a sharp, gallery-style setting. A 7 x 5in print is a popular size for family snaps, holiday photographs and favourite portraits. That makes this a practical choice whether you are framing a picture of your own or choosing a gift for someone who loves a clean, modern look at home.

On the back, a fold-out stand lets the frame stand on any flat surface, so it needs no wall at all. Two small hanging fittings, one on the top edge and one on the side, mean it can also hang in portrait or landscape. The backing is black to match the metal edge, so it looks tidy from every angle on an open shelf. To keep it at its best, dust the frame with a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners on the matt surface. Hang it beside other black frames for a simple gallery wall, or slip a favourite photograph inside before wrapping it as a gift.
