Description

This matt black bezel fits Knightsbridge CFR IP65 downlights, providing a finished trim ring around the light aperture. The 87mm diameter bezel is moulded from ABS plastic with a matt black finish and sits 6mm proud of the ceiling surface once installed, concealing the cut-out edge and giving a clean transition between the light fitting and the ceiling plane.

Designed for use in bathrooms, wet rooms and covered outdoor locations where CFR IP65 downlights are installed, the bezel clips onto the downlight housing after the fitting is secured in the ceiling void. The matt black finish suits contemporary bathroom schemes, dark-toned ceilings, and installations where the trim ring needs to recede visually rather than draw attention.

The ABS construction is lightweight, impact-resistant and does not corrode in damp environments. The bezel is sold separately from the CFR downlight itself, allowing replacement if the finish is damaged during redecoration or allowing a finish change without replacing the entire fitting. The matt surface reduces glare and fingerprint visibility compared to gloss or metallic finishes.

Which downlights does this bezel fit?

This bezel is compatible with Knightsbridge CFR IP65 downlights. It will not fit other downlight ranges or non-Knightsbridge fittings. Check the downlight model code before ordering to confirm compatibility.

Is the bezel sold with the downlight?

No. The bezel is sold separately, allowing you to choose the finish that suits your ceiling colour and interior scheme. CFR downlights are available with various bezel options including white, chrome, brushed chrome and matt black.

Can the bezel be removed and replaced?

Yes. The bezel clips onto the downlight housing and can be removed for redecorating or finish changes without rewiring or removing the downlight from the ceiling void.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

The ABS construction is suitable for covered outdoor locations such as porch ceilings and eaves soffits where the downlight itself carries an IP65 rating. The bezel does not add or subtract from the IP rating of the downlight it is fitted to.
