Description

The Marinella is a flush ceiling fan with a built-in light, finished in matt black. Three clear blades turn inside a slim circle of integrated LED light, held on three black arms beneath a round ceiling canopy. The body is aluminium and steel, and the ring has a milky acrylic diffuser that softens the LEDs into an even glow. It is 50cm in diameter and only 14.5cm high, so it keeps close to the ceiling rather than hanging down into the room. This is an indoor fitting for dry rooms.

It suits a living room, a dining area or a bedroom, where one fitting gives you a gentle breeze on warm days and the main light all year. The white light runs from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, so you can set a soft, homely tone for the evening and a crisp, bright white for reading or working. Two integrated LED lights, each rated at 17.8W and 2,100lm, give the room a proper main light, and they dim for quieter moments. With the LEDs built into the ring, there are never any bulbs to buy or change.

Everything is handled with the remote control that comes in the box, including the fan's three speeds and the dimmable light. The aluminium and steel body wears its matt black finish throughout, and the clear blades and milky diffuser keep the look light and uncluttered. It runs on 220-240V, 50Hz mains as a wired-in fitting, so a qualified electrician should install it; the installation instructions come as a download. Packed, it weighs 4.21KG, so have a second pair of hands ready on the day it is fitted.
