Description
The Marenzo is a small alabaster orb pendant built around a 150mm sphere of natural Spanish alabaster, suspended on a slim brushed brass stem from a matching ceiling plate. A flat circular brass disc sits horizontally above the orb, framing the sphere against the ceiling and giving the fitting a clear two-element silhouette. The single G9 lamp socket inside the orb (bulb sold separately) lets light diffuse evenly through the stone.
Sized for tighter spaces than typical pendant lights, the 180mm overall diameter suits hallways, smaller dining tables, kitchen islands hung in multiples, bedside drops either side of a bed, and stairwells. The G9 socket accepts compact LED capsules up to the wattage stated on the bulb packaging, so the colour temperature and brightness can be matched to the room. The suspension cable can be shortened during installation to set the drop height.
Each alabaster orb is cut from a single piece of natural Spanish stone, so the veining, mineral movement and tonal variation differ from one pendant to the next. The solid copper internal structure carries the weight of the stone and the brass exterior detailing, with the brushed brass disc adding a horizontal accent against the round form of the orb. The compact scale lets the Marenzo work in clusters of three or five over an island without crowding the sightline.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Marenzo take?
The pendant uses a single G9 lamp, sold separately. A G9 LED capsule in 2700K-3000K warm white pairs well with the natural alabaster, allowing the stone's tonal variation to read through the light.
Will each pendant look the same?
No. Each alabaster orb is cut from a single piece of natural Spanish stone, so veining, mineral colouring and tonal movement differ between pieces. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect, and means a cluster of Marenzo pendants will show variation across the group.
Can it be hung in a cluster?
Yes. The compact 180mm overall diameter makes the Marenzo well suited to clusters of three or five over a kitchen island or dining table, or used as paired bedside drops. The suspension cable can be shortened during installation so individual pendants can be set at staggered heights.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe the orb with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners on the surface.
