Maremagnum 6 Light Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Antique Brass

The Maremagnum is a 6-light semi-flush ceiling light built from intertwined antique brass arms that loop and cross in a three-dimensional spiral, with six clear glass spheres positioned at intervals along the metal framework. Each sphere houses a G9 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately), and the entire structure measures 630mm diameter and projects 550mm from the ceiling when mounted.

Designed for rooms with standard ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m, the semi-flush format provides a sculptural presence without requiring the drop height of a full suspension pendant. The Maremagnum suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways where a statement ceiling fitting is needed but a low-hanging pendant would intrude into headroom. The 630mm diameter covers a typical dining table or central seating area without overwhelming smaller rooms.

The antique brass finish carries a warm, aged patina that shifts tone under different lighting conditions, presenting darker and more bronzed in shadow and warmer gold where light strikes the metal directly. The clear glass spheres scatter light outward through the brass framework, creating highlights and shadows that emphasise the looping geometry. The entire fitting weighs 3.7kg and fits standard UK ceiling roses rated for ceiling lights.

Each of the six G9 sockets accepts bulbs up to the fitting's maximum wattage (see Specification tab). Dimmable G9 LED bulbs paired with a compatible dimmer allow the light output to be adjusted for ambient evening lighting or brighter task lighting during the day. What bulbs does the Maremagnum take?

The fitting takes six G9 capsule bulbs (sold separately). G9 LED bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) are recommended for residential use. Check the Specification tab for the maximum wattage per socket.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming but requires dimmable lamps to function correctly on a dimmer circuit.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 550mm projection from ceiling to lowest point suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In lower-ceilinged rooms the fitting may feel visually dominant but remains functional as a semi-flush design rather than a low-hanging pendant.
