Description

The Marblehead is a 342mm outdoor wall lantern with a white composite frame, seeded glass panels and a single E27 bulb fitting. The frame uses arched metal ribs to divide the glass into a window-like grid, with a top canopy and base mounting plate that bracket the glass enclosure. The seeded glass contains hundreds of tiny bubbles that scatter light when the bulb is lit, creating a diffused glow rather than harsh directional beams.

Designed for UK porch canopies, front door surrounds and patio walls, the Marblehead carries an IP44 rating that protects against rain splash from any direction and solid objects larger than 1mm. The composite construction resists rust, salt spray and UV degradation better than painted steel alternatives, making it suitable for coastal locations and exposed positions. The 257mm projection from the wall clears most door frames and gives enough forward throw to light a 1-1.5m area below the fitting.

The white finish on the composite material has a low-sheen texture that hides minor surface marks and pairs cleanly with white or cream-painted masonry, uPVC door frames and rendered walls. The arched frame design references traditional carriage lanterns without literal period detail, making the Marblehead compatible with both traditional cottage exteriors and more neutral contemporary builds. The 60W maximum E27 rating accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs (sold separately), with most users pairing the fitting with a warm-white 6-10W LED for front door and path lighting.
