Description

The Mara is a 100cm diameter 2-tier chandelier carrying eight E14 bulbs across two levels of curved French gold arms, each fitted with an ivory white pleated fabric shade. The arms loop outward from a central hub in a symmetrical arrangement, four arms on the upper tier and four on the lower, creating a layered profile that spreads light evenly below and to the sides.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.8m or above, the Mara's adjustable drop extends from 800mm minimum to 2600mm maximum, allowing installation over a dining table at standard 750-850mm clearance or as a centrepiece in a double-height space. The 100cm spread suits rectangular tables of 2-2.4m length or rooms of 18-25m². The French gold finish on the metalwork is a warm antique tone midway between polished brass and aged bronze.

Each pleated shade diffuses the E14 bulb output (bulbs sold separately) through the ivory white fabric, reducing glare and softening the light pattern. The 5.8kg weight requires a ceiling hook rated to at least 10kg and secure fixing into a joist or reinforced ceiling rose. Small crystal droplets hang from three of the lower arms, adding subtle refraction when the chandelier is lit. The chain-hung suspension allows height adjustment during installation but once set requires partial disassembly to change.

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and pair the chandelier with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer. The fixture itself has no built-in dimming electronics. Dimmer compatibility is determined by the bulbs you choose.
