Description

The Mara is a 550mm four-light pendant with curved French gold arms that loop upward from a central stem into a sculptural column, supporting an ivory white pleated fabric drum shade above. Four E27 bulb fittings sit inside the shade, and glass accent beads punctuate the metalwork where the arms intersect. A crystal droplet hangs beneath the shade as a counterweight detail.

Designed for dining tables, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Mara works where ambient light needs visual presence. The 750-1500mm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be positioned 700-800mm above a dining surface or higher in double-height spaces. The pleated ivory shade diffuses light evenly across the 550mm diameter, reducing glare while keeping the French gold framework visible when lit.

The French gold finish on the metalwork carries a soft brushed tone that sits between polished brass and antique brass, pairing with warm neutrals, creams and soft greys. The rigid vertical pleats on the fabric shade add texture without pattern, and the shade's tailored drum shape contrasts with the fluid curves of the arms beneath. At 4.2kg the pendant needs secure ceiling fixing into a joist or toggle anchor in plasterboard.
