The Mantle is a 327mm semi-flush ceiling light with a prismatic glass dome suspended from three curved metal arms, finished in imperial silver. The dome sits approximately 246mm below the ceiling rose, making it a semi-flush rather than a true flush mount. Two E27 bulbs inside the dome (sold separately) cast light through the prismatic glass, which refracts and disperses the beam across the room rather than concentrating it downwards.

Designed for hallways, kitchens, bedrooms and entrance halls with standard 2.3-2.5m ceiling heights, the Mantle provides general ambient light without the drop length of a pendant. The 327mm diameter suits rooms of 10-15m², although two fittings can be run along a longer hallway or kitchen. The imperial silver finish on the metalwork is a soft brushed or satin grey-silver that sits between polished chrome and brushed nickel in tone, pairing well with both warm and cool interior palettes.

The prismatic glass dome is moulded with horizontal ridges and a square-cut texture that catches and scatters light when the bulbs are on, creating visual interest on the glass surface itself. The three curved arms that connect the dome to the ceiling plate mirror classical Art Deco and mid-century design without being a direct reproduction of either style.
