Description

The Mane is an 11cm square outdoor wall light with an integrated 3W 3000K LED set behind a white aluminium frame and high-strength plastic diffuser. The LED casts warm white light downward and to the sides, with the diffuser softening the beam to reduce glare while maintaining visibility along pathways, porches and entrance areas.

Designed for external wall mounting at heights between 1.5-2.5m, the Mane suits residential front doors, garage entrances, garden pathways and commercial building perimeters where compact, downward-directed light is needed. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions under eaves or on open walls. The 32mm projection from wall to front face keeps the light low-profile on narrow pathways or next to doorframes.

The aluminium body is powder-coated white to resist UV fade and corrosion in coastal and high-humidity environments. The plastic diffuser is impact-resistant polycarbonate rather than glass, reducing breakage risk in high-traffic areas. The 3W LED runs at 110-240V AC, eliminating the need for transformers or external drivers — the light wires directly to mains supply behind a standard outdoor junction box. The 3000K colour temperature provides a warm white output that matches incandescent porch lights without the heat or energy draw.

Yes. The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for exposed external walls. While IP54 is not submersion-proof, it handles rain, coastal spray and garden hose splash without issue.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 3W LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 25,000+ hours of operation, which translates to approximately 10 years of use at 6-7 hours per night.

What mounting height works best?

Most installations place the Mane between 1.5-2.5m above ground level. At 1.5m it provides close-range pathway lighting; at 2-2.5m it covers a wider area suitable for doorway illumination or perimeter security lighting.

Does it require an external driver or transformer?

No. The light operates directly on 110-240V AC mains supply and wires into a standard outdoor junction box. No additional transformers or drivers are needed.
