Description
The MAH PRO 12R PRO 38W NW is a 1200mm linear LED batten built for damp and exposed locations. It runs from 220 to 240V AC mains and offers selectable power steps of 38, 34.5, 27.5 and 22W, giving a luminous flux of 6100, 5600, 4550 or 3750 lm to suit the job. A 4000K neutral-white output keeps the light clean and crisp, while the wide 110 degree beam spreads it evenly along the length of the run. American specifiers will recognise this format as a weatherproof LED shop light, the wraparound batten used across utility and trade spaces.
Set to its full 6100 lm output, this fitting covers around 12 to 20 m² at general lighting levels, making it a sensible choice for garages, workshops, car parks, plant rooms and damp utility areas. The lower wattage steps let you trim brightness for smaller bays or storage corners without changing the fitting. It mounts directly to a ceiling or wall, and because the body measures 1200 by 75 by 75 mm it sits neatly along beams, soffits and rafters where a slimline weatherproof light is needed.
The housing is polycarbonate in a grey finish, rated IP66 against dust and powerful water jets and IK08 for impact resistance, so it stands up to knocks and washdowns. It is not a dimmable fitting; the four output levels are selected at the batten rather than through a dimmer. Mounting is via ceiling or wall fixings, and the integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours of service. We stock further models across the Mah batten range for longer runs and alternative outputs.

Frequently Asked
Where can this batten be used?
With its IP66 rating it is suitable for exposed outdoor and wet locations as well as damp indoor spaces. Typical settings include garages, workshops, car parks, plant rooms and outbuildings. The IK08 impact rating also makes it well suited to busy working areas.
Can it be linked in a continuous run?
These battens are designed to be installed individually or in repeated rows along a ceiling or wall. For a continuous line of light, space several units end to end along the run. Each fitting connects to the 220 to 240V AC mains supply.
What do the different wattage settings mean?
The fitting offers four selectable power steps of 38, 34.5, 27.5 and 22W, producing 6100, 5600, 4550 or 3750 lm respectively. This lets you match the output to the size and brightness needs of the space. The setting is chosen at the batten itself.
How should the fitting be cleaned?
Wipe the polycarbonate body with a soft damp cloth once the unit is switched off and cool. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh solvents that could mark the surface. The IP66 sealing means it copes well with washdown environments where dust and grime build up.
