The MAH MAX is a weatherproof LED batten running 38W direct from 220-240V mains and putting out 5800 lumens of 6500K daylight white. Its 110 degree beam spreads light wide and even along the length of the fitting rather than pooling it, which is what you want from a linear run over a working area. North American buyers will recognise this format as a shop light, the long surface-mounted strip used to flood a garage or workbench with bright, neutral output, and at IP66 it carries far more weather protection than a typical indoor wraparound.

At general lighting levels its output covers around 19 m², enough for a single-car garage bay, a small workshop or a section of a damp store. It is built for the places ordinary fittings struggle: garages, car ports, plant rooms, covered walkways and outdoor utility areas exposed to rain and dust. The daylight 6500K tone keeps colours true and detail crisp for hands-on tasks, and the long thin profile sits close to the ceiling or high on a wall where headroom is tight. Where a longer span needs covering, several units can be set out in a line to light a full bay or corridor.

The body is moulded polycarbonate finished in grey, rated IP66 against powerful water jets and heavy dust ingress and IK08 for knock resistance, so it stands up to a working environment. The integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours, removing tube changes over the life of the fitting. It mounts to a ceiling or wall and is not dimmable, running at full output whenever switched on. The MAH MAX is well suited to being installed in a line to light a longer space such as a corridor, car park bay or extended workshop. Each fitting runs from a 220-240V mains supply, so plan the wiring so adjacent units are fed along the run. Spacing them evenly keeps the 110 degree spread overlapping for consistent brightness.

How much area does one batten light?

With 5800 lumens of daylight white output, a single unit covers around 19 m² at general lighting levels. That is comfortable for a single-car garage bay or a small workshop. For larger spaces, add further units along the run to keep the light level even.

How do I clean the fitting?

Switch it off and let it cool, then wipe the polycarbonate body with a soft, slightly damp cloth to clear dust and grime that can dim the output. Avoid solvents or abrasive pads, which can mark the surface. Because it is IP66 rated, it shrugs off the damp and dust found in garages and outdoor areas, so occasional wiping is usually all it needs.
