Description
The MAH LED HI is a 26W weatherproof LED batten that puts out 3900 lumens of cool white 4000K light through a wide 110 degree beam. In the US this format is known as an LED shop light, the linear surface fitting that runs along a garage or utility ceiling. It is an integrated LED unit, so there is no tube to replace, and at 150 lm/W it makes efficient use of its 26W draw. The rectangular polycarbonate body measures 1180 x 80 x 70 mm and weighs just 1.27 kg.
This batten suits garages, workshops, car parks, stores and damp utility areas where a robust, even wash of light is needed. With 3900 lumens spread across the 110 degree beam, it covers around 13 m² at general lighting levels, which makes a single unit enough for a small workshop bay or a section of a larger run. Its IP65 rating means it copes with dust and water jets, so it works in covered outdoor spots and exposed wet locations as well as indoors. Multiple units can be set out in a line down a longer ceiling to keep brightness consistent from end to end.
Construction is a one-piece polycarbonate housing rated IP65 against dust and water and IK08 for impact resistance, suited to knocks in a busy workspace. The fitting runs directly from 220-240V AC mains, mounts to a ceiling or wall surface, and is not dimmable. The finish is grey, giving a practical, unobtrusive look against plant-room or garage surfaces. The MAH LED HI range includes other lengths and wattages for matching across a full installation.

Frequently Asked
Where is this batten typically used?
It is built for garages, workshops, car parks, stores and damp utility spaces. The IP65 rating also allows use in covered outdoor areas and other wet or dusty locations. Its grey polycarbonate body holds up well in working environments.
What does the IP65 rating mean for outdoor and wet use?
IP65 means the fitting is sealed against dust and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. That makes it suitable for exposed outdoor positions and wet rooms, not just dry indoor use. The IK08 rating adds resistance to impacts.
Can several units be linked in a run?
The batten is designed to be installed in a line along a longer ceiling so brightness stays even from end to end. Each unit measures 1180 mm long and runs from 220-240V AC mains. Check the spec sheet for any through-wiring or connector options before planning a continuous run.
How do I clean the fitting?
Wipe the polycarbonate housing with a soft, damp cloth once it is switched off and cool. Avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners that could mark the surface. The IP65 seal means dust and grime brush off easily in workshop settings.
