Description
The MAH is a weatherproof twin LED batten built around two T8 LED tubes, each running up to 36W on a G13 cap from a 220-240V AC supply. In the US this format is the workshop favourite usually sold as a shop light, with the sealed body doing the same job as a wraparound fitting. Light is thrown broadly downward across its 1265mm length, giving the even, shadow-free wash that suits long runs of working space rather than a tight directional beam.
Its IP65 rating makes it a strong fit for garages, workshops, car parks, sheds and damp utility areas where moisture, dust and the odd hose-down are a fact of life. The twin-tube layout puts plenty of usable light over a bench or vehicle bay, and several units can be spaced along a ceiling to light a longer space evenly. Mounted to the ceiling on a standard height, it covers a working zone well, marking out aisles and bay edges clearly. Coverage scales simply by adding fittings in a line along the run.
The housing is moulded plastic with a sealed polycarbonate construction that keeps water and dust out to the IP65 grade, finished in grey to blend into a utility ceiling. It is ceiling mounted and measures 1265 x 125 x 92 mm at a weight of 1.60 kg. The two G13 tubes are replaceable, so the fitting can be re-lamped rather than scrapped. The MAH sits within a wider range of weatherproof battens at Niori.

Frequently Asked
Where is this batten typically used?
It suits garages, workshops, car parks, sheds and damp utility spaces. The IP65 rating means it copes with moisture and dust, so it works in areas a standard indoor fitting would not.
Is it weatherproof?
Yes. The sealed body and polycarbonate construction give it an IP65 rating, so it is protected against dust and water jets and is fine in exposed outdoor and wet locations.
Can it be linked in a run?
Several units can be spaced along a ceiling to light a longer area evenly. Each fitting is wired to the 220-240V AC supply, making it straightforward to line them up over a workshop or parking bay.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the sealed polycarbonate body with a soft, damp cloth once it is switched off and cool. Avoid abrasive cleaners so the diffuser stays clear and the IP65 seal is not compromised.
