Description

The MagPro addressable base sounder cover is a white blank plate designed to fit over ESP MagPro detector bases when the base-mounted sounder function is not required. Each pack contains five covers, allowing installers to specify addressable bases across an entire zone while blanking off sounder terminals on heads where audible alarm output is not needed.

Used on commercial fire alarm installations where detector spacing requires addressable bases but acoustic coverage is achieved through separate wall-mounted sounders or voice alarm speakers. The cover conceals unused terminals and provides a clean finish to the installed detector head, maintaining the aesthetic consistency of ceiling-mounted fire detection across open-plan offices, retail spaces and hospitality environments.

The cover clips onto the MagPro detector base beneath the detector head itself, so once the head is twisted into place the cover is held securely without separate fixings. The white finish matches standard MagPro optical and multi-sensor detector housings. Each cover weighs 20g and adds negligible load to the ceiling fixing.
