Description
The MagPro is a 16-zone addressable fire alarm panel in a grey metal case, supporting up to 250 devices per loop and certified to EN54-2/4 for European fire detection standards. The panel features a 4-line by 40-character LCD display, navigation controls, and numbered LED indicators for each zone, providing clear status information during normal operation, fault conditions and alarm events.
Designed for commercial buildings, hotels, schools and multi-tenanted properties requiring comprehensive fire detection coverage, the MagPro can be networked with up to 32 panels to create a site-wide system managed from a single location. The panel logs up to 10,000 events in internal memory, recording alarm activations, fault conditions, user actions and system changes with timestamps for audit and maintenance purposes. The micro USB port allows connection to a PC for programming via the included free software, which also provides loop and battery calculator tools to assist with system design.
The grey powder-coated steel case measures 320mm wide by 350mm high by 480mm deep (outer dimensions) and mounts to a wall via rear fixing points. The panel's class change function allows zones to be reconfigured for different detection priorities without rewiring, making it adaptable to changing building layouts or occupancy patterns. The system supports standard addressable devices including smoke detectors, heat detectors, call points and sounders on a two-wire loop, reducing installation cabling compared to conventional multi-zone panels.

Frequently Asked
What devices can be connected to the MagPro panel?
The panel supports standard addressable fire detection devices including smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points and sounders. Each loop can accommodate up to 250 devices on a two-wire connection. Compatible devices must comply with EN54 standards and be configured to work with the MagPro protocol.
Can multiple panels be networked together?
Yes. Up to 32 MagPro panels can be networked to create a site-wide fire detection system managed from a central location. This allows large buildings or multi-building sites to operate as a single integrated system with shared alarm and fault reporting.
What certification does the panel carry?
The MagPro is certified to EN54-2/4, the European standard for fire detection and alarm control and indicating equipment. This certification is typically required for commercial fire alarm installations subject to building regulations and insurance requirements.
Is programming software included?
Yes. Free programming software is included, along with loop and battery calculator tools. The panel connects to a PC via the micro USB port, allowing configuration, event log downloads and firmware updates to be carried out using standard Windows software.
