Description

The MagPro 2 Input 2 Output Module is an addressable fire alarm interface module with two monitored inputs, two relay outputs and a built-in loop isolator, certified to EN54-18. The module is loop-powered, drawing its operating current directly from the addressable fire detection loop rather than requiring a separate power supply.

Designed for commercial fire alarm systems where remote monitoring and control is needed, the module links fire panel inputs to external signalling devices, HVAC shutdown relays, door holders or monitoring station equipment. The two monitored inputs can accept contact closures from manual call points, beam detectors or third-party devices not directly addressable on the loop. The two outputs provide volt-free relay contacts that activate on command from the fire panel.

The built-in isolator protects the addressable loop from short-circuit faults downstream of the module. If a fault occurs on the wiring connected to the module, the isolator prevents the entire loop from failing, maintaining communication with other devices on the system. The module mounts in a standard IP40-rated enclosure with green terminal blocks for field wiring and programming via the fire panel's loop addressing tools.
