Description
This faux plant gathers a deep red magnolia bloom, sprays of glossy red berries and a pine cone into a ribbed brown pot, making a festive arrangement that is ready to set out as it is. The magnolia's broad petals open around a glittered centre, and the berries climb on dark stems above and to either side. Around them sit sprigs of green pine, a frond of glittered red foliage, curled leaves in olive and gold, and a small cluster of creamy white berries for contrast. Red leads the colour, warmed by the earthy brown of the pot. It stands 31cm tall, 14cm wide and 10cm deep, so it gives a good lift of colour without taking much space.
We think it suits a mantelpiece, a hall table or a windowsill through the Christmas season, where its height lets the berries show above other decorations. It sits just as well on a sideboard, a bookshelf or the end of a dining table. Because it is full on every side, with pine and gold leaves at the back, it looks right from any angle. As a Christmas gift it comes ready to display, with nothing to arrange and no watering to remember.
It comes set in its pot as one piece, so there is nothing to assemble, and it can be lifted from shelf to table whenever you rearrange. A faux plant needs no water, only the odd dust with a soft dry cloth to keep the petals, berries and pine looking fresh. After Christmas, pack it upright in a box and store it somewhere dry, away from direct sunlight, and it will be ready to bring out again next December. For an easy festive display, we like it at one end of the mantelpiece beside a garland of greenery, where the red berries pick up any red in your baubles and ribbons.

Frequently Asked
How big is the magnolia and berry faux plant?
It stands 31cm tall, 14cm wide and 10cm deep. That compact size fits a mantelpiece, windowsill or side table without crowding it.
Does it need watering or any care?
No watering is needed, as it is a faux plant. An occasional dust with a soft dry cloth keeps the petals, berries and pine looking fresh.
What colours are in the arrangement?
Red leads, from the magnolia bloom and the berries. It also has green pine, olive and gold leaves, a few creamy white berries and a ribbed brown pot.
Does it come already in its pot?
Yes, it comes set in its ribbed brown pot as one piece, so it is ready to stand on a table or shelf straight away.
Can I bring it out again every Christmas?
Yes. Between seasons, store it upright in a box somewhere dry and away from direct sunlight, and it can come out again each December.
Is it a good Christmas gift?
We think so. It comes ready to display with nothing to arrange or water, which makes it an easy and cheerful Christmas gift for any home.
