Description

Every track run needs a point where the supply arrives, and this is it: the live end for the Magneto system, in black to sit quietly against the rest of the run. The body keeps to a 20mm square section, so nothing steps out of line where the lead meets the track, and the two metre tail allows plenty of slack. There is no lamp and no light output here; it is the feed that makes the rest of the run work, and it suits all types of Magneto track.

We reach for it whenever a customer is planning a Magneto run from scratch, whether that is a short line over a kitchen worktop, a longer one down a hallway to pick out pictures, or a row of pendants in an open-plan room. Because it suits the shallow, deep and recessed profiles alike, the track can be settled first and the feed chosen after. Keep it to dry rooms indoors, away from bathrooms, porches and anywhere it might meet weather.

The section is slim and rigid, with the black finish carried across the housing so it reads as part of the run rather than an addition to it. It carries a three year warranty. Wiping over with a dry cloth now and then is all the finish asks; leave polishes and sprays out of it, and let the tail hang free of kinks. We stock the wider Magneto range around it: track lengths in shallow surface, deep surface and recessed form, matching end caps, L-joints for turning a corner or running wall to wall, and a push switch dimmable controller for systems that need dimming.
