It is a single connector for the shallow surface system, forming an L-joint that carries a run outward where two walls meet. Square in plan and very shallow in depth, it sits close against the ceiling line so the turn reads as a continuation of the run rather than a lump in it. The black finish matches the track it joins.

We reach for it when a lighting run wants to follow the shape of a room instead of stopping short: a kitchen that turns into a dining area, a hallway with a return, a studio or shop floor where light should trace the walls. Which track does this connector fit?

It is made for the Magneto shallow surface system, references M8300 and M8301. It will not fit the deep or recessed profiles, which have their own joints.

How big is it?

It measures 110mm by 110mm in plan and stands 27mm high, so it sits low and square where the two runs meet.

What is the difference between the wall to wall out and wall to wall in versions?

This one turns the run outward around an external corner. The wall to wall in version handles the internal corner, and we stock that alongside it.

Does it hold a lamp?

No. It is a non-electrical connector; the light output comes from the fittings you place along the track.

How should it be cleaned?

Switch the system off first, then dust with a soft dry cloth. Avoid cleaning sprays and abrasives, which will mark the black finish.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

It is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms rather than bathroom zones or covered outdoor areas.
