Description

Corners are where a run of recessed track usually stops. This piece keeps it going. It is the L-joint from our Magneto recessed range, roughly 11cm along each side, taking the line out of one wall and round to meet the next. The body is black throughout, so it reads as a continuation of the channel rather than a break in it. There is no lamp head here: it is the turn in the line, not a light in its own right.

We reach for this when a plan calls for one unbroken line around a room instead of separate runs on each side. A kitchen where the track follows the ceiling from the sink wall across to the hob wall, a hallway that bends, a landing where the pictures change wall: all of them need the angle to be handled properly rather than fudged. It suits anyone building a Magneto system up piece by piece, and it is sensible to order it with the track so the whole corner turns up together. This is the outward facing version, with the angle opening away from the corner.

The black finish is carried through the whole range, so tracks, end caps and joints sit together and the geometry stays quiet once the lamp heads are on. Dark surfaces do show dust, so an occasional pass with a dry cloth along the upper edges keeps it looking crisp; there is no need for anything wet or abrasive. It carries a three year warranty. We also stock the inward facing joint and a right angled version alongside the recessed track itself, which means a run can be drawn around most room shapes before a single part is ordered. Lamp heads and the track are bought separately.
