Magneto Deep 3 Connector Surface L-Joint 90º - Black

Every track run reaches a corner eventually, and this is the piece that takes it round. It joins the deep surface track in our Magneto range at a right angle, carrying the three circuits through the turn so the line continues without a break. It measures 11cm square, matt black on every face, and sits at the same depth as the track that meets it, so the corner looks like part of the run rather than something added to it.

It belongs in rooms where the lighting wants to follow the shape of the plan rather than stop short at a wall: an L-shaped kitchen turning from the worktop towards the table, a hall that bends, a studio or home office arranged along adjoining walls. We reach for it whenever a single straight length would leave one corner dim. There is no lamp in it, and no switching either; the light still comes from the fittings you place along the track, and this simply keeps them on the same circuits and under the same control.

The finish is a flat black that matches the tracks, end caps and other joints in the range, so a system built from several parts still reads as one piece of kit. It is intended for dry interior rooms, well away from weather and splashing. Upkeep is minimal: run a duster along the top face when you do the ceiling, and wipe any marks off with a barely damp cloth once the power is off. The same right angle turn is made for the shallow surface track and for the recessed track, and there are wall-to-wall versions for runs that turn out of or into a wall. It carries a three year warranty.

Which track does this corner suit?

It is made for the deep 55mm surface and pendant track in the Magneto range, codes M8371 and M8372. The shallow and recessed tracks each have their own matching corner.

What size is it?

It is 110mm long by 110mm wide and 55mm high, and weighs 0.18kg.

Does it contain a lamp or any electronics?

No. It is a non-electrical part that passes the three circuits from one length of track to the next; the light output comes from the heads or pendants fitted along the run.

Will it match black track from the same range?

Yes. It is finished in the same black as the tracks, end caps and other joints, so a multi-part run keeps one consistent colour.

How should it be cleaned?

Dust the exposed faces with a dry cloth. For anything more stubborn, switch the supply off and use a slightly damp cloth, then dry it before switching back on.

Is it suitable for a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20, which means dry, sheltered interior rooms only.
