Description

The Knightsbridge magnetic bezel is an 88mm diameter polished chrome trim ring designed specifically for fixed FireNova fire-rated downlights. The bezel sits flush against the ceiling surface with a 3mm projection and uses magnetic attachment to clip directly onto the downlight housing without tools or screws.

Designed to provide a finished appearance where the downlight cuts through painted plasterboard or plastered ceilings, the bezel conceals the rough cut edge and any minor gaps between the downlight and the ceiling surface. The polished chrome finish gives a mirror-like reflective surface that pairs with modern and contemporary interiors where chrome taps, door furniture and light switches are already present.

The bezel is moulded from polycarbonate with a vacuum-metallised chrome finish, making it lighter and easier to handle than solid metal bezels while maintaining the same visual appearance. The magnetic connection allows the bezel to be removed for redecorating or maintenance without disturbing the wiring or the downlight housing itself. The 88mm diameter covers the standard cut-out for FireNova fixed downlights.

Which downlights does this bezel fit?

This bezel is designed for Knightsbridge FireNova fixed fire-rated downlights. It uses magnetic attachment and fits the standard 88mm cut-out diameter. Check your downlight model is a fixed (non-tiltable) FireNova before ordering.

How is the bezel fitted?

The bezel uses magnetic attachment and clips directly onto the downlight housing once the downlight is installed in the ceiling. No tools are needed. The magnet holds the bezel in place and allows it to be removed for redecorating or maintenance.

Can the bezel be painted over?

The polished chrome finish is not designed to be painted. If you need a paintable bezel, Knightsbridge offers white versions in the same range that can be emulsion-painted to match the ceiling colour.
