Description

This magnetic bezel is a 88mm polished brass trim designed to clip onto Knightsbridge FireNova fixed fire-rated downlights. The bezel is moulded from polycarbonate with a polished brass finish and sits 3mm proud of the ceiling surface, forming a visible trim ring around the downlight aperture.

The bezel attaches via magnetic mount, meaning it clips onto the downlight housing without tools, screws or clips. This allows the bezel to be removed and refitted for redecorating or to swap finishes without disturbing the wiring or fire-rated housing behind. The polished brass finish provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with traditional brass switches, door furniture and tap fittings in kitchens, bathrooms and period-style interiors.

The 88mm outer diameter matches the standard FireNova fixed downlight aperture. The polycarbonate construction is lighter than metal bezels and does not conduct heat, making it safe to touch shortly after the downlight has been switched off. The polished brass coating gives a mirror-like reflective finish when new, developing a natural patina over time unless periodically cleaned.

Is this compatible with all FireNova downlights?

This bezel is designed for the Knightsbridge FireNova fixed fire-rated downlight range. It is not compatible with tiltable or adjustable FireNova models, which use a different bezel design. Check the downlight model before ordering.

How is the bezel fitted?

The bezel attaches via magnetic mount and simply clips onto the metal housing of the installed downlight. No tools, screws or spring clips are needed. To remove, gently pull the bezel away from the ceiling.

Can the polished brass finish be cleaned?

Yes. Wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For a deeper clean, use a damp cloth with a small amount of brass cleaner or distilled water, then dry immediately. Polished brass develops a natural patina over time unless regularly polished.
