Description

This magnetic bezel provides a matt black 88mm diameter frame for Knightsbridge FireNova fixed fire-rated downlights. The bezel attaches magnetically to the downlight trim ring, giving a defined edge around the lamp aperture without requiring tools or fixings during installation.

Designed for residential and commercial settings where a crisp, high-contrast finish is needed on ceilings, the matt black frame creates a sharp visual boundary that works well against white, grey and off-white ceiling surfaces. The 3mm projection from the ceiling plane is shallow enough to avoid creating shadows or catching dust, while still providing a visible accent. The magnetic attachment allows the bezel to be removed for redecorating or swapped for a different finish in the same FireNova bezel range without disturbing the downlight fitting itself.

The bezel is constructed from polycarbonate, which maintains its finish under the heat generated by LED downlights and resists warping over time. The matt black surface finish minimises reflections and glare from angled daylight, keeping the frame visually recessive during the day while framing the light output cleanly at night. Each bezel is compatible only with the fixed FireNova fire-rated downlight model — it will not fit tiltable or adjustable versions of the FireNova range.

Which downlight does this bezel fit?

This bezel is designed specifically for the Knightsbridge FireNova fixed fire-rated downlight. It will not fit tiltable or adjustable versions of the FireNova, nor will it fit other downlight ranges.

How is the bezel attached?

The bezel attaches magnetically to the downlight trim ring. No tools or fixings are needed — the bezel simply clips into place and can be removed by hand if you need to swap finishes or redecorate around the fitting.

What other finishes are available?

Knightsbridge produces the FireNova bezel range in several finishes including white, brushed chrome, polished chrome and matt black. Use the search function or filters to find other variants in stock at Niori.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

The bezel itself does not carry an IP rating — the fire-rated downlight it attaches to carries the IP rating for the complete assembly. Refer to the FireNova downlight specification to confirm bathroom zone compatibility.
