Description

This magnetic bezel fits Knightsbridge FireNova fixed fire-rated downlights, providing an antique brass trim ring that changes the visible finish of the downlight without rewiring or removing the fitting from the ceiling. The bezel attaches magnetically to the FireNova's metal housing, allowing it to be swapped or removed without tools.

Designed for refurbishments, rental properties and installations where finish flexibility is needed, the bezel lets a single downlight model work across different interior schemes by changing only the visible trim. The 88mm outer diameter covers the standard FireNova cutout with a 3mm projection from the ceiling surface. The polycarbonate construction is lighter than metal bezels and handles the heat from LED downlights without warping.

The antique brass finish has a darker, aged tone compared to polished or brushed brass, with subtle tonal variation across the surface that suits traditional and period interiors. The finish pairs well with antique brass door furniture, cabinet handles and tap fittings. The magnetic attachment means the bezel can be removed for redecorating or replaced if damaged, without disturbing the downlight's electrical connection.

Is this compatible with all FireNova downlights?

This bezel is designed for the Knightsbridge FireNova fixed downlight models. It will not fit the tiltable FireNova models or other downlight brands due to the magnetic attachment system being specific to FireNova housings.

How is the bezel attached?

The bezel attaches magnetically to the metal housing of the FireNova downlight. No tools, screws or clips are needed. The bezel simply snaps into place over the downlight rim and can be removed by gently pulling it away from the ceiling.

Can the bezel be painted?

The polycarbonate material can technically accept paint, but the antique brass finish is intended as a final finish. Painting over it would obscure the brass tone and may affect the magnetic grip if paint builds up on the attachment points.
