MAGfire White Lid for DBS-1 Back Box

The MAGfire white lid is a 110mm diameter plastic cover designed to clip onto the DBS-1 dry-lining back box during installation. The lid seals the open face of the back box before the final faceplate or fitting is installed, preventing debris ingress and protecting cable terminations during building work.

Used primarily on construction sites and during first-fix electrical installation, the lid allows the DBS-1 back box to be fitted and wired in advance of plastering or painting, then removed once the wall is finished and the final electrical accessory is ready to be fitted. The white finish blends with primed or painted plasterboard during the construction phase.

At 110mm outer diameter and 10mm height, the lid sits flush with the DBS-1 box rim and adds minimal projection beyond the wall surface. The lightweight construction (13g gross weight) means the lid can be clipped on and removed without tools, making it straightforward to access the box for testing or additional wiring runs before final commissioning.
