Description

The MAGfire transparent cover is a protective polycarbonate shield designed to fit over the ESP SCP2R manual fire alarm call point. The clear cover allows the call point underneath to remain visible while preventing accidental activation from knocks, bumps or unintended contact. Supplied as a pack of five covers, each unit clips over the face of the SCP2R call point without requiring additional fixings or modifications to the existing installation.

Designed for schools, care homes, industrial facilities and public buildings where manual call points are required by fire safety regulations but are at risk of accidental activation, the transparent cover acts as a deterrent without obscuring the call point or creating confusion during a genuine emergency. To activate the alarm, the cover is simply lifted upward, exposing the call point glass or break element beneath. The cover can be replaced after activation or testing without needing replacement parts.

Each cover weighs 110g and is moulded from impact-resistant polycarbonate with rounded edges to minimise snagging or injury risk in high-footfall areas. The transparency ensures the red colour and labelling of the call point beneath remain clearly visible from a distance, maintaining the visual cues required under fire safety signage standards.
