The Machio is a slim, rectangular LED flood light with a black aluminium body and a white glass front. The black and white pairing looks tidy on brick, render or timber. It measures 16.4cm in length, 18.3cm in width and 6cm in height, and weighs just 0.42KG. The light source is integrated LED, giving 3,600 lumens at 4000K, a neutral white that shows colours clearly without the yellow cast of warmer lamps. It carries an IP65 rating, which means it is sealed against dust and protected from jets of water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall or in the garden.

Being a flood light, it is made to cover a wide area rather than pick out a single spot. That suits a driveway, a patio, a back garden, the side of a house or the ground around a garage or shed. At 3,600 lumens there is plenty of output for a space you want to use after dark, from putting the bins out to finishing a job in the garden.
