Lyvane Small Alabaster Globe Pendant Light - Brushed Brass

The Lyvane is a compact 120mm globe pendant light with a spherical shade carved from natural Spanish alabaster, suspended on a black flex from a slim brushed brass cap. A single G9 lamp socket sits inside the globe, casting light through the stone so the alabaster itself glows with the warm tonal variation of its mineral veining. Bulbs are sold separately.

The small 120mm diameter suits clustered installations over kitchen islands and dining tables, stairwell drops, bedside positions in place of a table lamp, and tight hallway or landing locations where a larger pendant would dominate. Multiple Lyvanes can be hung at staggered heights to create a clustered arrangement, or used singly above a console or compact dining setting. The black flex can be shortened on installation to set the drop height required by the room.

Each alabaster globe is cut and finished from a solid block of natural stone, so veining patterns, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces — visible in the warmer caramel banding that appears across the lower section of the shade when lit. The brushed brass cap is intentionally minimal, acting as a quiet transition between flex and stone rather than a decorative element. The G9 socket accepts standard G9 LED capsules, allowing the colour temperature and brightness to be selected at install.

What bulb does the Lyvane take?

The pendant uses a single G9 lamp socket. G9 LED capsules are widely available and bulbs are sold separately. A 2700K-3000K warm white LED capsule pairs well with the natural alabaster tone.

Can multiple Lyvanes be hung together?

Yes. The compact 120mm diameter is well suited to clustered installations over kitchen islands, dining tables and stairwells, with each pendant set at a different drop height. Each fitting requires its own ceiling outlet or a multi-port ceiling plate.

Will the alabaster pattern match other Lyvane pendants?

No two globes are identical. Because each shade is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, the veining, banding and tonal variation differ between pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a manufacturing inconsistency, and is most visible when the pendant is lit.

How is the drop height adjusted?

The black flex is shortened on installation to set the required drop. For a kitchen island or dining table the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, while clustered arrangements use staggered drops between fittings.
