Description

The Lyria is a 6-globe wall light built around a 435mm brushed gold metal bar that mounts flush to the wall with a 60mm projection. Each globe houses an integrated LED behind a frosted acrylic sphere, with the combined output rated at 18W and 3000K colour temperature across all six bulbs. The light source is non-replaceable and non-dimmable.

Designed for bathroom mirror lighting, hallway feature walls, and dressing room installations where horizontal task light is needed at face height, the Lyria provides even illumination across the full 435mm span. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor locations — it cannot be used in bathroom zones requiring IP44 or above. The shallow 60mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, reducing the chance of head-strikes in narrow corridors.

The brushed gold finish is applied to the metal bar and diffuses reflections from the acrylic globes, while the frosted sphere design spreads light evenly without visible LED hotspots. Each globe measures approximately 70mm in diameter and sits proud of the bar to direct light forward rather than back onto the wall. The integrated driver sits within the mounting plate, so no external transformer is needed.

Is the Lyria dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimmer switches. The light operates at full 18W output when switched on, with no dimming function available.

Can this be used above a bathroom mirror?

Only if the mirror is outside bathroom zones requiring IP44 or above. The IP20 rating means the Lyria must be fitted in dry locations away from direct water exposure. Check bathroom zone regulations before installation.

What colour temperature does it provide?

The integrated LED is rated at 3000K, which produces a warm white light similar to halogen bulbs. This sits between the warmer 2700K of traditional incandescent and the cooler 4000K of daylight-rated LEDs.

Can the bulbs be replaced?

No. The LED light source is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced. The Lyria is covered by a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux, which covers LED failure within that period.
