The Lyria is a 30cm glass sphere table lamp with a blown and acid-etched white glass diffuser set on a white metal base. The single E27 bulb fitting inside the sphere casts light through the etched glass, creating soft ambient illumination without harsh glare or visible bulb filament.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and desk surfaces, the Lyria provides ambient rather than task lighting, making it suitable for bedrooms, living rooms and hallway surfaces where soft background light is needed. The 30cm diameter works on surfaces 60cm wide or larger without dominating the available space. The IP20 rating confirms indoor-only use.

The white metal base and white etched glass create a monochrome aesthetic that pairs with modern, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors. The acid-etching process gives the glass a matte translucency that hides the internal bulb while allowing light to pass through evenly across the entire sphere surface. The lamp accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 60W (sold separately), allowing control over light temperature and intensity.

The Lyria takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for soft ambient light.

Is the Lyria dimmable?

The lamp itself is not dimmable. If you fit a dimmable E27 LED bulb and use it with a compatible lamp dimmer switch or dimmer plug, dimming is possible, but this depends entirely on the bulb and external dimmer you choose.

How is the glass cleaned?

The acid-etched glass can be wiped with a soft, dry microfibre cloth when the lamp is switched off and cool. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid glass cleaners or sprays that can leave residue on the matte etched surface.

What size surface does it suit?

The 30cm diameter sphere works best on surfaces 60cm wide or larger, such as a bedside table, console table or wide desk. On narrower surfaces the sphere can overhang the edge and appear visually unbalanced.
