Description

The Luxix is a 42cm LED bathroom mirror light with an integrated 11W LED module housed in a white metal frame. The light bar sits above or alongside a bathroom mirror, delivering 3000K warm white light through a dual-layer acrylic diffuser that eliminates glare and hot spots. The IP44 rating allows safe use in bathroom zones 2 and 3, where direct water spray is not present.

Designed for installation above mirrors in en-suites, family bathrooms and cloakrooms, the 42cm length suits mirrors up to 60cm wide. The light mounts horizontally on a wall bracket fixed to a standard UK back box or directly to the wall surface using the supplied fixings. The shallow 40mm projection from the wall minimises how far the fitting protrudes into the room, keeping it clear of head height in narrow bathrooms.

The white powder-coated metal frame coordinates with white sanitaryware, tiles and bathroom furniture, while the transparent outer diffuser layer and satin inner layer combine to produce even light distribution across the mirror surface without visible LED dots or striping. The 3000K colour temperature provides a warmer, less clinical light than cool white bathroom fittings, reducing eye strain during morning routines and making skin tones appear more natural in the mirror.

LED technology provides 50,000 hours of rated life, equivalent to 17 years of use at 8 hours per day, and draws just 11W compared to 40-60W for an equivalent halogen or incandescent mirror light. The non-dimmable driver is built into the fitting and connects directly to 230V mains via a wall switch or pull cord.
