Description
The Luxeon Wide is a 1120mm linear LED track light built from extruded aluminium with a matt black powder-coated finish. The integrated 26W LED module delivers 4000K cool white light through a wide-beam optic, designed for retail displays, office environments, galleries and commercial spaces where neutral-tone task lighting is needed. The fitting mounts to standard track systems via a three-circuit adaptor housed in the end cap.
The adjustable head rotates on its mounting point, allowing the light beam to be directed along the length of a display wall, across workbenches, or onto product shelving without repositioning the entire track. The 22mm profile keeps the fitting low-profile against the track rail, reducing visual clutter in commercial interiors where multiple fittings run along the same track. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments.
The black aluminium body dissipates heat from the LED module without requiring external cooling fins, keeping the surface temperature stable during extended operation. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white and daylight, providing accurate colour rendering for merchandise, artwork and office tasks without the yellow cast of 3000K or the clinical tone of 5000K. The fitting is non-dimmable, operating on simple on-off switching via the track circuit.

Frequently Asked
What track system does this fit?
The Luxeon Wide fits standard three-circuit track rails using the adaptor built into the end cap. It is compatible with most commercial track systems including Ideal Lux's own Ego profile. Confirm track compatibility with your installer before ordering if using a non-standard rail.
Can the light direction be adjusted after installation?
Yes. The head rotates on its mounting point, allowing the beam to be redirected along the track line or across the space without moving the track itself. This makes it suitable for spaces where display layouts change regularly.
Is it suitable for galleries and colour-critical retail?
The 4000K colour temperature provides neutral white light with good colour rendering, making it appropriate for general retail and office use. For galleries requiring high CRI for artwork, check the CRI specification or contact us to confirm suitability for colour-critical applications.
What is the IP20 rating?
IP20 means the fitting is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but has no water resistance. It is suitable only for dry indoor environments such as shops, offices and galleries, not bathrooms, kitchens or outdoor canopies.
