Description

The Luxeon is a 7W LED magnetic track light that clicks into Ideal Lux magnetic track systems without tools. The 192mm-long black aluminium body houses an integrated LED module that casts 4000K neutral white light through a fixed downward-facing reflector. The magnetic connection allows the fitting to be repositioned along the track or removed entirely without disrupting the electrical circuit.

Designed for retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and home office task lighting, the Luxeon provides directed accent or task light where fixed ceiling fittings would be impractical. The 22mm projection from the track profile keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane, suiting installations where headroom is limited or where a minimal visual presence is preferred. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor areas.

The black powder-coated aluminium finish resists fingerprints and surface marks better than polished or brushed metals. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white (2700K-3000K) and daylight (5000K-6500K), providing clarity for reading and detailed work without the starkness of cool daylight LEDs. The on-off control means the fitting switches at full brightness without dimmer compatibility, which simplifies installation where dimmers are not required.

What track system does this fit?

The Luxeon is designed for Ideal Lux magnetic track systems, specifically the Ego profile range. It will not fit standard three-circuit track systems or other manufacturers' magnetic tracks without compatibility confirmation.

Can the light direction be adjusted?

No. The LED module and reflector are fixed in a downward-facing position. Light direction is controlled by repositioning the fitting along the track, not by tilting or rotating the head.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 7W LED module is integrated into the fitting. When the LED reaches end-of-life, the entire fitting is replaced rather than the LED alone.

What is 4000K colour temperature suited for?

4000K is neutral white, sitting between warm (2700K-3000K) and cool daylight (5000K+). It suits task lighting in kitchens, offices and workspaces where clarity is needed without the warmth of ambient lighting or the starkness of clinical daylight.
