Description

This metal photo frame wraps a favourite picture in a soft wash of pastel brushstrokes, with pink, lilac and grey swept across the mount and a slim rose-gold toned metal edge running around the outside. It takes a single 6 x 4in photograph in a rectangular opening at its centre. That is the most familiar print size, so most prints from home or from a printing service drop straight in without trimming. The frame measures 21cm high and 16cm wide, and at only 1cm deep it keeps a slim profile wherever it goes.

The soft palette sits happily in a bedroom, on a dressing table or bedside cabinet, and it brings a gentle splash of colour to a desk, a bookcase or a living room mantelpiece. Because the frame can stand or hang, it works just as well on a hallway wall or grouped with other frames in a gallery arrangement. The pastel tones pair naturally with blush, lilac and grey schemes, while the warm metallic edge picks up brass, copper or rose-gold accents in a room. It also makes a thoughtful gift: slip a shared photograph inside before you wrap it and the present is ready to go.

Around the back, a plain black backing carries a fold-out strut for standing the frame on a flat surface. It also has two small hanging loops, one on the top edge and one on the side, so it can hang upright or turned on its side to suit the picture. The rectangular metal frame keeps its clean lines, and the brushstroke mount gives the photograph a soft border without competing with it. To keep it looking its best, dust the frame with a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners on the metal edge. Stand it beside a small vase on a shelf, or hang it at eye level in a hallway where it greets everyone coming home.

Frequently Asked

What size photo does this frame hold?

It holds a single 6 x 4in photograph, the most common print size. The photograph sits in a rectangular opening at the centre of the pastel brushstroke mount.

How big is the frame overall?

The frame measures 21cm high, 16cm wide and 1cm deep, so it sits comfortably on a narrow shelf, desk or bedside cabinet.

Can the frame stand on a table and hang on a wall?

Yes. A fold-out strut on the back lets it stand on a flat surface. It also has two hanging loops, one on the top edge and one on the side, so it can hang upright or turned on its side.

What is the frame made of and what colours is it?

The frame is metal with a slim rose-gold toned edge. The mount carries a pastel brushstroke print in pink, lilac and grey, and the backing is plain black.

How should I clean the frame?

Dust it gently with a soft dry cloth to keep the metal edge bright, and avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners on the metallic finish.
