The Lupin is a 25cm pendant light built from laser-cut acrylic panels arranged in overlapping circular and oval apertures, creating a cylindrical shade suspended from a polished chrome canopy on a black cable. The panels are finished in gloss white on the outer surface, with an opal white translucent core that diffuses light evenly when the E27 bulb is lit. The geometric cutouts allow light to escape in defined patterns, casting soft shadows on nearby walls and ceilings.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, bedside positions and hallway zones, the Lupin suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above where the pendant can hang 700-900mm above a surface. The 1800mm maximum drop is adjustable on installation, allowing the fitting to be shortened for lower ceilings or extended for double-height spaces. The 250mm diameter occupies minimal visual space while the geometric patterning on the shade gives it presence when viewed from below or at eye level.

Yes. The fitting supports dimming when used with a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. Both the bulb and dimmer must be rated for the same wattage and dimming technology (phase-cut, trailing edge, or LED-specific).

What bulb does it take?

The Lupin takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 15W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to match the opal white acrylic diffusion.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The cable allows adjustment between 300mm and 1800mm during installation. For dining tables or kitchen islands, a typical drop of 700-900mm above the surface works in rooms with 2.4m or higher ceilings.

How is the acrylic shade cleaned?

Wipe the acrylic panels with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the acrylic as some household chemicals can cloud or scratch the gloss finish.
