Description

The Lunas is a 63.5cm LED suspension light built from five circular discs arranged in an interlocking geometry, each housing integrated LED modules behind a textured white diffuser. The discs sit at varying angles and depths on a central metal hub, suspended on three cables from a 300mm circular ceiling canopy. The integrated 43W LED array produces 2,120 lumens at 3000K warm white and is dimmed via the included RF remote control.

Designed for dining areas, kitchen islands and double-height entrance halls where the ceiling height is 2.6m or above, the Lunas provides ambient light distributed through multiple surfaces rather than a single downward beam. The layered disc configuration means light escapes in multiple directions, reducing harsh shadows and giving softer general illumination. The suspension cables are adjustable from 300mm to 1600mm on installation, allowing the fitting to be set at the optimal height above a table or island worktop.

The textured white acrylic diffusers hide the individual LED diodes and scatter the light evenly across each disc surface, preventing visible spotting or hot zones. The matte white metal frame absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping attention on the glowing discs themselves. At 3.1kg the fitting is substantial enough to feel solid without requiring reinforced ceiling fixings beyond a standard UK ceiling rose. The RF remote allows stepless dimming from full brightness down to a low glow, plus functions for switching between preset light levels.

The Lunas is part of Mantra's architectural LED collection and shares design language with the smaller Lunas 50cm variant. The 63.5cm version suits larger rooms and higher ceilings where a more substantial presence is needed.
