Description

The Lunaro is a compact single pendant light built from two stacked materials: a 150mm-diameter cylindrical travertine shade in light beige sitting beneath a turned walnut wood top. The pendant measures 180mm tall in the body and uses a single E27 lamp socket, suspended on a slim brown braided cord that runs from the ceiling rose into the rounded walnut cap.

Suited to kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining tables, the Lunaro works well in clusters of three or five spaced along a worktop or as a single drop above a bedside table or hallway console. Light is directed downward through the open base of the travertine cylinder, producing a focused pool of illumination on the surface below rather than ambient room light. The compact 150mm diameter means several can be hung close together without visual crowding.

The travertine is unsealed natural stone, so each shade carries its own pattern of pores, fissures and mineral banding in tones from pale cream through to warmer caramel. The walnut top is finished to show the natural grain and darker heartwood streaks, giving a visual contrast between the porous stone and the closed-grain wood. The cord is fabric-braided in a matching brown that ties the two materials together rather than introducing a third finish.
